V-Ringe vom Typ E haben einen geraden Rücken und dienen als drucklose axiale Stangendichtung mit sehr geringer Einbaulänge. Sie sind an der Welle befestigt. Die flexible Lippe dichtet die gegenüberliegende Fläche im rechten Winkel zur Achse ab und verhindert so das Eindringen von Schmutz, Staub und Spritzern. Der V-Ring VE ist für hohe Beanspruchung ausgelegt und wird dort eingesetzt, wo größere Axialtoleranzen erforderlich sind. Dieses Profil ist für Achsen von Ø 450 bis Ø 2010 mm erhältlich.
Die V-Ring VE sind hochbelastbare V-Ring-Dichtungen mit großem Durchmesser, die auch größte axiale Verschiebungen zulassen. Sie werden häufig als Seitendichtungen und in Walzwerken zum Schutz vor Schmutz und Wasser eingesetzt. Die V-Ring VE-Ausführungen können zudem auf das 2,5-fache ihres ursprünglichen Durchmessers gedehnt werden.
